Hi! This is Guande Wu, a HCI and visualization researcher. I am currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon AWS. I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Tandon School of Engineering, New York University. My Ph.D. advisor is Prof. Claudio T. Silva and I was also working with Prof. Chen Zhao. My research is centered around interface design and data visualization.
Previously, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many outstanding experts in visualization and HCI at Zhejiang University, UC Davis, Microsoft Research Asia, Adobe Research and Amazon AWS. I have also served as the PC member for Chinese CHI and the reviewer for ACM CHI, UIST, IMWUT, TPAMI and TVCG.
The name pronunciation in my mother tougue the Lishui Dialect (丽水话), a dialect of the Wu Chinese language (吴语).
